Turkey decoy suspected in crimes
A turkey decoy is suspected in the death of 7 mature gobblers. Over the course of 6 weeks in 2012, a turkey was reported in various fields in central Minnesota where toms were later reported missing. Most of the toms were large strutters with bronze backs and long beards. Many of these elderly toms grew up in the area and fowl play (thats funny shit right there) is suspected.
Turkey decoy is a semi strut jake
The turkey decoy in question is a semi strut jake with a slight head tilt. He is very arrogant looking and hard to tell from the real thing. He has a metal stake near his butt hole that allows him to stand in the field as he has no real legs. He oftens stands motionless, but will sometimes turn with the breeze if allowed to do so. The jake turkey decoy sports excellent paint adhesion, and he is often kicked and pecked before signalling an air strike to kill the tom.
Turkey decoy jumps bond
“We had the turkey decoy in custody in South Dakota at a warehouse, but someone paid $89 through pay pal and was shipped freight free to the crime area days before these toms began disappearing”, reports deuty Dan Mott from Onamia MN. “I personally helped on a sting that went awry after we killed 2 toms in one set, and the turkey decoy in question left in the back of a different truck.”
The paint adhesion is so remarkable the turkey decoy has been seen traveling on his side with no carrying case on dirt roads with no flaking or peeling. Unreal.
